This is a fun project written by one of my grad students (Emma Guillen). The thinking is all hers, I just helped bring the idea to life through the magic of design and art direction.
Problem: We live in a world where misinformation is rampant. Politicians from both sides of the aisle are adept at bending the truth or lying outright. In fact, they are counting on us taking them at their word. As a result, people all over the country are retweeting, liking, and sharing fundamentally incorrect information that guides policy and influences votes.
Solution: Create a predominantly digital OLA campaign designed to get the voting public to know there is an independent fact-checking source designed to keep politicians in line and the voting public properly informed.
