I love any communication that leaves you thinking — you know — feeling like you've been a part of something.
No matter the medium, I want to feel the message. I have worked in advertising as an art/creative director for over three decades and have been fortunate enough to work for some of the most recognizable brands in the country and alongside many talented collaborators.
No one can be an expert in everything, but if it requires thinking and a laptop I can pretty much do it.
If awards matter to you, I’ve won my share. Recognition from Communication Arts, CANNES, ANDY, Hatch, Clio, The One Show, ADC, Print Magazine, Graphis, MITX, MIXX, Luerzer’s Archive, Forrester, twice-nominated for a regional Emmy, and other metal and plastic.
I had the good fortune of being a part of two Super Bowl commercials, one of which topped the USA Today AdMeter, and both have been named to separate top-five lists in the fifty-year history of Super Bowl advertising.
I am now a freelance CD while serving as Professor of the Practice, Advertising at the Boston University College of Communication where I work to develop the next generation of creative minds.
The best thing I've ever done is have a family and enjoy the success and failures of being a father, husband, and son. Life informs my work.
